3Q Mahuma’s mission statement reads that it wants to be “the most admired contract concrete supplier In Southern Africa.” To achieve this the company needed to have a mobile ability.

 

A mobile batch plant was sourced and it was announced that 3Q are now the proud owners of a LIEBHERR Mobimix 2.25 R DW Wet Batch Plant. 

 

The plant is modular in design and can be erected in 2-3 days.

 

It consist of a twin shaft mixer with a build in High Pressure cleaning system. The electromechanical weights ensure total accuracy during the batch process. Aggregates are fed from the bins on a weighted conveyor adding speed to the whole process.

 

State of the art technology has been used in the manufacture of this plant ensuring that a Quality product can be produced.

 

The plant is capable of producing 100m3 of concrete per hour. The relative small footprint of the plant ensures that site space required is minimised.

 

The unit is self contained and the services such as water and electricity is connected at one point. The term “Plug and Play” comes to mind when the plant is set up.

 

With this acquisition 3Q will be able to offer on site wet batching solutions to their valued clients.
