Paper To Paper Laminator
Fletcher has combined machines to produce these paper to paper lamination lines. The line pictured has electronically controlled unwinding stations, with automatic and continuous braking control. The backer sheet goes through a precision glue spreader where a light coating of PVA glue is applied. Short wave IR lamps with electronic controls flash off the moisture prior to heated compression. The two parts are mated at the heated chromed pressure station. After the backed paper leaves the heated press, it travels up and down through a flexing and cooling station. The material is then rewound onto a driven spool station.
Fletcher will make these machines in custom sizes based on customer requirements. The machine on the photograph is 5 foot wide.
