Thin Section Bearings
Our large bore small cross section bearings permit the use of large diameter hollow shafts or tubes to replace solid shafts by supporting the rotating structure (table) at the periphery.
Where these are typically used:
Thin Section Bearings are found in applications requiring support of heavy loads while slowly turning or oscillating the load around an axis. Found in radar scanning, security screening, medical CT scanning, wind power, military turret, satellite dish, and other industrial applications.
Special features:
- Three basic configurations: Radial, Angular Contact, and Four-Point Contact
- Low Friction Seals (PTFE) if desired
