Evaporative Cooling Systems

An evaporative cooling system utilizes the evaporation of water to cool air in an environment. Evaporative cooling systems are especially useful in environments where the air temperature is hot and the humidity is low. During the process, latent heat is extracted from the surrounding air in order to trigger the evaporative process. The result is that the surrounding air and components are cooled by the evaporation.
