Finishing - Centrifugal Polishing

Centrifugal polishing is a finishing process used on small objects such as stones, rocks, or jewelry. The objects are placed in a barrel and an abrasive grit and lubrication liquid is added to the barrel. The barrel is then spun and the centrifugal forces created by the spinning cause the objects to be rapidly mixed with the abrasive grit, resulting in polished surfaces.
