PROXA, global provider of integrated water treatment solutions has acquired a controlling stake in Process Plant Technology on the 1st of October 2013. PROXA (Pty) Ltd. is an international company providing integrated water and effluent solutions into the Chemical, Industrial, Mining and Resources industries. PROXA’s main mission is to provide solutions to the above sectors with a focus on minimisation of environmental impact, rapid deployment, plant flexibility, reduction of risk and cost optimisation.
PROXA’s AQUAMOBILE units are capable of being rapidly shipped to sites for temporary or emergency water treatment. In addition, the AQUAMODULAR range consists of customised modular systems for ease of expansion or plant phasing constraints. PROXA offers water solutions ranging from engineering, design and supply, commissioning, plant operations and maintenance.
PROXA offers a range of technologies including:
- Physical precipitation, softening and sedimentation processes,
- Membrane separation processes such as Reverse Osmosis (RO), Ultra Filtration (UF) and Microfiltration (MF)
- Water potabilisation
- Ion exchange processes (for softening and metals removal)
