Company Description
The small enterprise EFTTOM-ION was created in 1985 as an autonomous team of the Technical University – Sofia. The basis for its creation was the scientific research laboratories of the University. The pioneers of the study and the industrial application of the ion nitriding were prof. Dimiter Buchkov, prof Venceslav Toshkov, prof. Minco Mincev and a lot of their collaborators. They’re more than 160 elaborated themes and patents allowed the appearing of the industrial application of the ion nitriding into practice.
The basic activity of the small enterprise EFTTOM-ION is the production and the application of technologies and installations for ion nitriding and carbonitriding. Throughout the years of its existence the enterprise has sold more than 120 ion nitriding installations in Bulgaria, Belarus, Germany, USA, Russia, India, Ukraine, Israel etc.
